Anushka is an actor and producer in Bollywood. She is acclaimed for her acting as well as being among the highest-paid actresses in Bollywood. After her modeling debut in Lakme Fashion Week Anushka did numerous campaigns for various brands, her campaigns for the brands' Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry as well as Fiat Palio etc. Anushka began giving film auditions along with her modelling. Anushka Sharma made her acting debut in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi alongside Shah Rukh Khan. She took the time to get ready and did not attempt the test on her own. Then she was offered three films with Yash Raj Films. She played a younger wedding bride to a middle-aged actor (Shah Rukh Khan) in the film. The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka Sharma was the lead in the film "Badmash Co The film was released in 2010. The film was also a star-studded film with Shahid Kapoor and the actor Vir Das. The film received mixed praises. Anushka was also seen with Ranveer in the film "Band Baaja Baaraat' in which she played an Punjabi middle-class girl who started her own business. It received favorable reviews and proved to be a sleeper hit. Anushka was able to complete the contract for three films together with Yash Raj Films.
